Who We Are

Bangladeshi Community in Bergen (BCiB) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization founded in 2016. Our purpose is to bring together people of Bangladeshi origin living in and

around Bergen, and to create a strong, supportive, and inclusive community.

BCiB works to promote cultural identity, social connection, and mutual support through a variety of activities and events. These include cultural celebrations, national and religious events, family gatherings, and social initiatives that encourage participation and belonging.

Our Background

We also aim to support new members of the community by sharing information, guidance, and assistance where needed. By creating a welcoming platform, BCiB helps strengthen ties within the community while also fostering positive engagement with the wider society in Bergen.

Our organization is run by dedicated volunteers who work together to serve the community with transparency, respect, and commitment.
